NEXON: Blue Archive scenario work stays with NEXON Games after publisher change

NEXON updated its information page on the Blue Archive publisher change on October 27, adding a Q&A covering scenario production, translation, fan works and official merchandise, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp. The company confirmed that in-game scenario production will continue to be handled by NEXON Games.
On translation, NEXON said scenario text will keep being translated under the supervision of the development team, with no change to the current system. 3D models, music, voice and video content produced so far will also continue to be used after the change.
NEXON added that a new Blue Archive-specific fan creation guideline will apply once the publisher change takes effect, separate from the rules covering its other titles. A new official online shop is in preparation, and the company said it is arranging physical store sales channels, with details to be announced later.
On accounts, free NEXON registration does not require a phone number, but users who registered through X accounts must sign up again. NEXON points cannot be used in Blue Archive.
Event plans continue
NEXON is also promoting the special site for Blue Archive Fes ~Rock with Me♪~, scheduled for January 23 and 24, 2027, alongside a 6th anniversary event and other projects.
In January 2027, Japanese service operation and distribution of Blue Archive is scheduled to move from Yostar to NEXON, while development continues at NEXON Games.
