Unofficial Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies Port Playable in Browser

An unofficial browser port of Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies, reportedly built with Anthropic's Claude, is free to play but lacks multiplayer support.

An unofficial browser port of Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies has become freely playable in a web browser. According to Game Rant, the port reportedly was built with Anthropic's Claude AI tool and does not support the Black Ops multiplayer mode.

The browser version includes all DLC released for Zombies mode, with supported maps including Ascension, Moon and Shangri-La. A Hell Mode option takes players directly to the last floor of a map.

Players may notice occasional lag and lower frame rates compared with the official release. Turning on hardware acceleration in browser settings can help remedy some performance issues.

Background

In a video released on October 8, content creator MrTLexify said the browser port was created entirely via Claude and warned it could be taken down by Microsoft or Activision at any point since it is not an official release. In July 2026, Activision shadow dropped Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 on PS4 and PS5. The company is preparing to launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Friday, October 23.
