Actoz Soft Opens CCRC 2027 Korea Qualifiers for Final Fantasy XIV
The Korean Final Fantasy XIV PvP tournament introduces a job ban system and a 30 million won prize pool, with finals at Fan Festival 2027 in Seoul.
Actoz Soft announced on the 27th that it will hold the Crystal Line Conflict Regional Championship 2027 Korea, an official Korean tournament for Final Fantasy XIV. The competition uses Crystal Line Conflict, the game's 5v5 PvP content.
The tournament introduces a new job ban system: before a match, each team designates classes the opposing team may not use. Qualifier registration opens December 8 and closes December 28. Teams may consist of up to 7 players, and any Final Fantasy XIV account holder can enter.
The 8 qualifying teams will be announced on the official website on January 5. The qualifier, serving as the quarterfinals, will be held on January 30 at a PC cafe in the Seoul area as a group round-robin in best-of-three format.
The four teams advancing from the qualifier will play best-of-five tournament matches, broadcast live on the official Final Fantasy XIV YouTube channel. The finals will be held March 13-14 at Fan Festival 2027 in Seoul.
The total prize pool is 30 million won, the largest ever, with 25 million won for the champion and 5 million won for the runner-up. All quarterfinalists receive a tournament-exclusive title and achievement, and in-game events with missions and rewards will run for general players during the tournament, according to game.donga.com.
Background
The predecessor tournament, Limit Breakers, was held in 2023 and 2024. In April 2026, Final Fantasy XIV synchronized patches between the Korean and global servers, and the game is set to release a new expansion pack in 2027.
