Chaos Zero Nightmare to drop pre-seasons from Season 6
Super Creative also plans two-player co-op content for a December update and will raise the save-data storage limit as the roster grows.
The developers of Chaos Zero Nightmare plan to remove the pre-season period between seasons starting with Season 6, and to add two-player co-op content in a December update, according to byline.network. The plans were set out at a media interview marking the game's first anniversary, held on October 15 at First Tower in Bundang, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
The December update is to introduce a two-player co-op mode called Coalition Operation Core Break. Season 6 will also overhaul the Sortie roguelike content, with a new mode planned for Season 7. A season roadmap detailing the changes is planned for December.
The team also intends to raise the save data storage limit over time as the number of combatants grows. A new Signal combatant named Rosbaise uses yin-yang cards that split to both ends of the hand and merge, the developers said.
The interview was conducted with Super Creative, the game's developer, and Smilegate, which publishes and operates it. Chaos Zero Nightmare launched globally on October 22, 2025.
Roguelike promise revisited
At the half-anniversary, the developers had promised the game would become more roguelike, but reward efficiency narrowed player choices again, according to the interview.
