Chronoscript demo patch reworks dodge invincibility and input buffer
Shueisha Games and DeskWorks have updated the Chronoscript: The Endless End demo with control fixes, ahead of a full release now set for early summer 2027.
Shueisha Games has released a patch for the demo of Chronoscript: The Endless End, adjusting controls and responsiveness in response to player feedback, according to Automaton.
Under the changes, invincibility now begins the instant the dodge button is pressed, and the action input buffer window has been roughly doubled. The playback speed of character movement animations was also slightly increased, though actual movement speed is unchanged.
The demo has drawn around 90 reviews on Steam, about 85% of them positive, giving it a "Very Positive" rating.
Separately, the developers said story presentation is being adjusted after external playtests held before the demo found the narrative was not conveyed well.
The demo first arrived in August 2026. On September 9, 2026, Shueisha Games announced that the full game had been pushed from 2026 to early summer 2027. Chronoscript: The Endless End is in development at DeskWorks and is planned for PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC.
