Remedy Entertainment has released Control Resonant, a new entry in the Control series, on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox for PC. The game costs $60, and a Mac version is planned for later this year through Steam and the App Store.
Control Resonant puts players in the role of Dylan and moves away from the morphable service weapon of the original game. Instead, it features an open world and melee combat.
The release lands alongside a busy week for indie games. Stick It to the Stickman, developed by Free Lives and published by Devolver Digital, is available on Steam for Windows, Mac and SteamOS/Linux and is Steam Deck Verified. It usually costs $12 and is 50 percent off until October 1.
Several showcase events are also running. Day of the Devs submissions close on September 28, and its next showcase will air on December 9, a day before The Game Awards. The Game Devs of Color expo showcase featured more than 60 games.
On Steam, the Mexican Entertainment System event includes more than 300 games from over 200 Mexican studios and runs until September 28, while Serbian Games Week features more than 200 games through the same date. Out Of The Box Games features 130 games. Dressmaker, released this week, has climbed the Steam Top Sellers chart.
