Control Resonant Update 1.4.0 Adds Infinite New Game++ and Accessibility Options
Remedy's Control Resonant update 1.4.0 brings infinite New Game++, reduced Unknown Zone intensity, a radio dialogue slider, and Razer haptics support.
Remedy Entertainment has released Control Resonant Game Update 1.4.0, adding an infinite New Game ++ mode and a suite of accessibility and audio options. The update also decreases combat and intensity in the Unknown Zone by 10%-15%.
Players now have a separate volume slider for radio dialogue, plus a Power Core Charge Duration option in Assist Mode with a 100-300% multiplier. A new "Mute copyrighted music" toggle lets players turn off Apocalyptica's "Upperhand" intro credits song. The update also adds support for Razer haptics.
Separately, a PC modder on Nexus Mods, Kkyleeb21, has created a photo mode mod for the PC version of Control Resonant. The mod arrives ahead of an official photo mode that Remedy said in a recent blog post it plans to add in a November update.
Remedy noted it prioritized game development over photo mode at launch. The studio's previous title, Alan Wake 2, also received post-launch updates and photo mode support.
