Pearl Abyss delays Crimson Desert DLC Charting the Unknown to October 29, 2026
The Charting the Unknown DLC for Crimson Desert moves from October 15 to October 29, 2026, with region-specific release times confirmed.
Pearl Abyss has delayed the release of Charting the Unknown, the upcoming DLC for Crimson Desert, by two weeks. The expansion will now launch on October 29, 2026, instead of its previously planned date of October 15, 2026.
The studio also provided specific release times for Europe, North America and Asia, though the exact times were not detailed in the announcement.
The delay follows Pearl Abyss's decision in August 2025 to slow the pace of free updates for Crimson Desert in order to focus on DLC development. Since launch, the game has received new critters, new chests, a shotgun, additional difficulty options, new mounts and boss rematches.
The first trailer for Charting the Unknown showcased building construction options, running on water and grabbing onto a shark.
