Croteam raises The Talos Principle 2 Steam price in US and Japan
Croteam cited rising development and support costs from global inflation; other storefronts and consoles are unchanged.
Croteam raised the price of The Talos Principle 2 on Steam on October 29, citing rising development and support costs caused by global inflation, according to automaton-media.com. In Japan the price moved from 3400 yen to 5100 yen, tax included, while the US price rose from 29.99 dollars to 39.99 dollars.
At the time of writing, prices on the Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S were unchanged, so the increase currently applies only to the Steam version.

Croteam is owned by Devolver Digital and is developing The Talos Principle 3 and Serious Sam: The Third Encounter. The studio continues to support The Talos Principle 2 and the remake The Talos Principle: Reawakened.
