FURYU: CRYMELIGHT Steam launch may miss November 5 date
FURYU said the Steam version's pre-release review is unfinished, while the PS5 and Switch 2 versions remain set for 0:00 on November 5, 2026.
FURYU announced that the Steam version of CRYMELIGHT may not release on its planned November 5, 2026 date, because the pre-release review has not been completed. The company said in the announcement, reported by gamespark.jp, that it cannot confirm when the review will finish.
Because of the unfinished review, FURYU said it cannot provide a specific release date or time for the Steam version. The PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions remain scheduled to launch at 0:00 on November 5, 2026.
The trial version on the Steam store page will stay downloadable until the full game is released, according to FURYU. The company said it will share further updates on the Steam News Hub and its official social media accounts once the review situation changes.
CRYMELIGHT is a roguelike action game set in the afterlife, where girls who committed crimes fight while confronting their sins.
FURYU said the Steam pre-release review was submitted about one month before the planned release, and that it had been responding to points raised in the review. The company also noted that Steam has recently seen a large increase in submissions for store page and game build reviews.
