Cup Noodle teases collaboration in posts resembling Kamen Rider Build

Nissin Foods posted a silhouette and a three-way split map of Japan on the Cup Noodle X account on November 8, 2026, before deleting the posts.

Nissin Foods posted two images on the official Cup Noodle X account on November 8, 2026, that appear to tease a collaboration, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp. The first post carried the phrase “This time, surely, that genius…” alongside a dark silhouette; twenty minutes later, a second post showed the Japanese archipelago divided into three parts, with text saying Cup Noodle had split into “Cup Noodle To”, “Sea Food To” and “Cup Noodle Ruka-re” and was looking for a collaboration partner.

The silhouette closely resembles the head of Kamen Rider Build, whose protagonist Sento Kiryu is a genius physicist. The official Kamen Rider X account quoted the post the same day.

The divided map and its wording match the opening of Kamen Rider Build and the narration that accompanies it, material that has since become an internet meme. The three-way division of Japan into eastern, northern and western capitals is part of that sequence.

The similar posts have since been deleted from the official Cup Noodle X account. As of the time of writing, no official collaboration announcement has been made.

An approach used before

In a previous campaign, a similar teaser was used for a collaboration with the internet-meme anime ChargeMan Ken!, which was also teased through cryptic posts before being revealed.
