Cyberpunk 2077 mods add fuel system and GTA-style wanted stars
Nexus Mods creator charlotte27k has released a Fuel System mod and a HUD overhaul for Cyberpunk 2077, both set in Night City and the Badlands.
Nexus Mods creator charlotte27k has released two mods for Cyberpunk 2077: a Fuel System that gives every vehicle its own fuel tank, and a HUD overhaul that adds a row of wanted stars in the top-right corner of the screen. PCGamesN reported the releases.
In the Fuel System mod, fuel consumption rises with speed, and running dry makes the engine stall. Players can refuel and repair vehicles at gas station pumps in Night City and the Badlands, or buy jerrycans to carry with them.
Fuel prices vary by district, from 2.5 eddies per litre in City Center to 4.5 eddies per litre in Dogtown. The mod also adds a fuel gauge, a vehicle condition indicator and map pins pointing to the nearest station.
A borderless mini-map and flashing wanted stars
The second mod from the same creator overhauls the HUD and mini-map, moving to a borderless mini-map in the bottom-left corner and adding GPS directions and a vehicle information card.
The wanted stars flash when police lose sight of the player. Cyberpunk 2077, developed by CD Projekt Red, already has thousands of mods available, including a multiplayer mod.
