Dark and Darker Season 11 Early Access Starts on the 9th
IRONMACE's Dark and Darker Early Access Season 11 adds a Goblin Smuggler NPC, a Curse theme, custom matches and a three-week Twitch Drops event.
IRONMACE announced that Early Access Season 11 of Dark and Darker will begin on the 9th in Korean time, according to inven.co.kr. The update includes a full dungeon overhaul and new content.
A new NPC called 'Goblin Smuggler' will be added, and players can interact with it during dungeon exploration. The update also introduces a new theme called 'Curse' that strengthens the curse on 'Forgotten Castle Ruins' to make the map atmosphere darker. Weapons, items, and interactive objects themed around the curse will be added, each with unique visual and in-game effects.
'Custom Play' lets players set modes, party size, maps, and detailed game rules to play with other users. Observer and spectating features are supported in Custom Play, designed to expand to various play environments such as tournaments.
Class-wide balance adjustments are made, and Warlock and Bard gain new skills and perks. Warlock gets a new Spell system and Bard gets a new Music performance system.
A Twitch Drops event runs for about three weeks from the 9th to the 30th.
Since its Early Access release in 2023, Dark and Darker recorded a peak of 100,000 concurrent players on Steam and ranked 2nd on Steam's all-time wishlist with 2.24 million. Dark and Darker recorded a peak of 250,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch.
