Dark Souls 2 Seamless Co-op Mod Enters Alpha
Modder Yui's Dark Souls 2: Seamless Co-op alpha supports up to six players, removes fog walls, and syncs progression. Available via Nexus and Patreon.
Modder Yui has released Dark Souls 2: Seamless Co-op into alpha, following similar co-op mods for Elden Ring and the original Dark Souls. The mod allows up to five other players to join a single session, turning the game's limited summoning system into a full cooperative run.
Fog walls are removed, and progression is synced between players, so the host and their companions advance together rather than being sent home after each boss. When a player dies, they respawn at their last bonfire instead of ending the session, keeping the group in the same world.
Mod features are accessed through unique in-game items, including Pharros' Heliograph and Petrified Fingers. Yui has also patched a major performance glitch that affected players with Intel processors, addressing one of the alpha's more disruptive issues.
The mod is available via Nexus and Yui's Patreon. As an alpha release, it remains a work in progress, but the core co-op framework is already in place for players willing to test it.
