Deepward Demo Patch Adds Limb Shooting and Three Difficulty Modes
Echofall Games' September 20 update for the Deepward demo adds limb-shooting and three new difficulty modes to the FPS roguelite.
Echofall Games released a patch for the demo of its FPS roguelite Deepward on September 20, adding the ability to shoot off enemies' limbs and introducing three new difficulty modes, according to Game Rant.
Deepward is developed by indie studio Echofall Games and is set to launch on Steam in Q1 2027. A free demo is currently available to play early.
In the game, players choose three of six heroes to build a squad and can switch between characters seamlessly during combat. A sanity meter stays stable only when players kill monsters, and neglecting it can change what they see.
The demo has surpassed 10,000 wishlists on Steam, a figure reached before the September 20 patch.
