DERELIKT retro sci-fi shooter hits Steam on November 14
Hyperstrange will publish Visuwyg's PS1-style horror shooter, set on an asteroid research facility in Saturn's orbit.
Hyperstrange will release DERELIKT, developed by Visuwyg, for PC via Steam on November 14, 2026 Japan time, the publisher announced. The game is a story-driven retro first-person shooter styled after PS1-era sci-fi horror.
DERELIKT takes place at the Von Neumann Outpost, a remote research facility built on an asteroid in Saturn's orbit. Players explore the facility, gather supplies and solve environmental puzzles to open new routes through it.
The outpost is home to more than a dozen NPCs, each with their own motives and differing views of the events unfolding there.
Combat mixes conventional firearms with alien-derived weapons, and ammunition, health and inventory slots are scarce. The game recreates PS1-era visuals including affine texture warping, dynamic tessellation, hand-painted vertex colors and full-motion CGI cutscenes.
A demo is currently available on the game's Steam store page, according to gamespark.jp.
