Desktop Mate Street Fighter 6 DLC adds Ryu and Chun-Li on November 12

Infinite Loop announced that two Desktop Mate DLC packs featuring Street Fighter 6 characters Ryu and Chun-Li will be released simultaneously on November 12, 2026, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp. Each pack costs 2,200 yen including tax and will be distributed on Steam. Steam store pages for both DLCs opened on November 6, 2026, and wishlisting is available.

The DLC introduces Desktop Mate's first "technique action" that blows away desktop windows. Ryu's Hadoken and Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick push windows across the screen. Mashing the character triggers Super Art Lv3 moves: Ryu's Shin Shoryuken and Chun-Li's Soten Ranka. Special moves sometimes become golden OD versions that consume a drive gauge and cause a Burnout state; clicking during Burnout makes the character Stun.

The DLC uses Street Fighter 6 in-game voices in Japanese and English, switchable per character. The Multi Character feature allows Ryu and Chun-Li to be displayed together, as well as with the default character Aiel-tan and other owned DLC characters.

The DLC is supervised by Capcom and supports Windows 10/11 64-bit and macOS Tahoe 26 or later. Desktop Mate is also sponsoring Street Fighter League JAPAN 2026.

Background

In June 2026, Desktop Mate launched a Mac open beta version. Street Fighter League has used Street Fighter 6 for its competition since the 2023 season, and the default character Aiel-tan is available without additional purchase.
