AdHoc Confirms Dispatch Eligible for All Major 2026 Game Awards Categories

Geoff Keighley told AdHoc Studio that Dispatch is eligible for every major category at The Game Awards 2026, the studio said.

AdHoc Studio has confirmed that Dispatch is eligible for all major categories at The Game Awards 2026, according to Polygon. Studio representatives said Geoff Keighley, the show's creator and host, confirmed the eligibility.

Voting for nominations at The Game Awards typically takes place earlier in November. The 2026 ceremony will mark the second consecutive year that Dispatch has been eligible for the show's top categories.

In October 2025, all eight episodes of Dispatch's first season were released by November 12, 2025, ahead of the November 21 eligibility cutoff for the 2025 awards. In that previous year, Dispatch was nominated for Best Debut Indie Game even though judges had only played half the season.

At the time of the 2025 nominations, AdHoc did not provide early copies of episodes to press ahead of their release dates. Dispatch went on to receive six nominations, including Game of the Year, at the DICE awards, and three nominations at the Game Developers Choice awards. It won three awards at the BAFTA Games Awards and secured a Best Game nomination.
