Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a 7-minute gameplay presentation for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, giving the first proper look at the game. The presentation introduces J-Age, a white-haired default Saiyan protagonist that players can choose, according to Screen Rant.

J-Age can team up with three members of the Great Saiyan Squad. The presentation also showed the Soul Assist/Soul Switch ability, which lets J-Age call upon characters such as Future Trunks and Vegeta and transform into them.

The game is set in West City in the futuristic AGE 1000. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is scheduled to launch in 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

The title is the third entry in the Xenoverse series and was first announced in April 2025. It is being developed by Dimps and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It follows Dragon Ball Z, which aired from 1989 to 1996 with 291 episodes as a direct sequel to 1986's Dragon Ball.
