Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 Moves to Second Half of 2027
Producer Masayuki Hirano said the longer window is needed for the launch experience and post-launch content on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is now targeting a second-half 2027 release, producer Masayuki Hirano confirmed, according to cbr.com. The game is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
Hirano said the longer window is needed to realise the team's ambitions for both the launch experience and post-launch content. He also said more information on battle customization and PvE missions was shared.
The new window comes after a PlayStation Instagram video tied to the September 2026 State of Play Japan presentation listed the game for early 2027.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 was originally announced for 2027. It was first revealed as Dragon Ball Project: Age 1000 and is set 148 years after Xenoverse 2.
