Hound13 released the version 1.1.0 update for Dragon Sword: Awakening on October 15, 2026, according to gamespark.jp. The PC (Steam) title adds a new hero, a higher difficulty tier, balance changes and a paid costume set.
The update adds Raiza as a usable party member. She is obtained as a reward for completing adventure request 53, 'Reunion', and joins unconditionally for players who have already cleared it. Steam news noted a bug in which Raiza cannot level up unless the player returns to the main screen or restarts the game after recruiting her.
Boss subjugation missions gain a new 'Hell' difficulty above 'Nightmare', along with score ranks. Rewards for high scores are based on fast clears, just dodges and the number of status effects inflicted.
Combat adjustments remove enemy critical resistance, apply allies' critical rate at its full value, and rebalance defense-ignore and other attribute values so each attribute carries more weight. The update also introduces new pin types placeable on the map, a training ground for measuring DPS, and fine adjustments to each character.
The paid DLC costume set 'Vow and Melody Set' was released alongside the update, adding new outfits and weapon skins for heroes Othello, Reina and Eileen. Dragon Sword: Awakening is available on PC (Steam) for 3,480 yen.
