Drakong unveils $129.99 InfinaKore Fender Telecaster guitar controller

The HyperKin-owned peripheral maker says the modular controller works with Stage Tour as well as existing Guitar Hero and Rock Band games.

Drakong has announced the InfinaKore Fender Telecaster, a guitar controller with a modular design that lets players customize and 3D-print their own parts, according to tomshardware.com. The California-based peripheral maker, which is part of HyperKin, set an MSRP of $129.99 / €129.99 / £119.99.

The controller uses hot-swappable low-profile Kailh Choc switches on its top frets and membrane switches on the bottom frets. The strum bar and whammy bar rely on hall-effect switches, and some frets on the fret bar are styled like a D-pad.

Drakong also gave the InfinaKore a foldable neck for storage and transport, along with tri-mode connectivity, a 4-mode slider switch, tilt functionality, a dedicated power-up button and mappable buttons.

The controller is compatible with Stage Tour and with existing Guitar Hero and Rock Band games. The first Guitar Hero launched in 2005 and helped push music rhythm games to the top of the charts.

Band-based rhythm games are due to return in 2026, with Stage Tour from RedOctane Games set to drop later in the year.
