Duet Night Abyss 1.7 'Into the Dawn' Update Adds New Character Form

PAN STUDIO released version 1.7 of Duet Night Abyss, titled "Into the Dawn", on October 20, according to inven.co.kr. The update adds a new character, story content, weapons and seasonal events.

The headline addition is a new form of the existing character Rhythm, called "Revived Flame", which uses the Lightning element and fights with a one-handed sword and a hand cannon. Players can obtain a "Commission Letter" for the character and for the new weapon "The Weight of Living".

Story and events

The new event story "Into the Dawn" opens permanently after the update and is set in Ice Lake City. A separate character story event covering Rhythm's narrative runs until November 30. The "Immersive Play" event, running from October 20 to November 10, lets players take the stage to guide the story, while the cumulative attendance event "Tomorrow to Come" gives 10 "Glorious Hourglasses".

Additional seasonal events include "Festival Commemorative Gift", "Treasure Hunt Training", "Harvest Day", "Starlight Tour" and "Eternal Nightmare". New "Demon Wedge" content adds three challenges along with related blueprints.

On November 10, the longbow "Mad Hatter's Banquet" and the calamity one-handed sword "Unanswered Riddle" will be unveiled. A costume event re-offers the "Strange Whisper" costumes for Pina and Rhythm, and from November 10 the "Candy Dream Factory" event reveals new "Candy Full House" costumes for Lisabel and Truffle & Hazelnut.
