Escape from Tarkov 1.2.0.0 Adds EXFIL Brothers Program
Battlestate Games' update introduces a veteran-and-recruit rewards scheme, six-level PvE prestige, and reworked PMC bot behavior.
Escape from Tarkov's 1.2.0.0 update is live, adding PvE improvements alongside a new program aimed at pairing veteran players with newcomers, according to Polygon.
The centerpiece is the EXFIL Brothers program. Operators, defined as accounts with an existing level 30 character, can raid alongside candidates, defined as accounts no more than seven days old. Both players receive a 5% XP bonus while grouped. When the candidate reaches levels 10, 20 and 30, both players receive in-game roubles, bitcoins and various cases. Additional operator rewards depend on the game edition purchased by the candidate, including TarCoin, posters, and the operator upper and basic training hideout customization.
PvE prestige and bot changes
The update also adds PvE prestige, which has six levels. Its rewards are permanent, surviving wipes, and include TarCoin and unique versions of the NKVD Finka knife, Akula dagger and Gamma secure container.
PMC bot behavior has been fully reworked. Bots are now distributed more logically and concentrated in quest areas, fight each other less often, and prefer attacking scavs. Bot gear and weapon loadouts vary by level and faction, and new PMC bot spawns were added to the Labyrinth location.
A promo code, POLYGON, grants a rewards pack and expires Monday, Oct. 19.
