Fallbearers Demo Now on Steam: Two-Player Coffin-Carrying Action
A demo for the 2D side-scrolling action game Fallbearers, in which two players carry a coffin through a Victorian-era city, is available on Steam.
A demo version of Fallbearers, a 2D side-scrolling action game built around two players carrying a coffin, is now available on Steam, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp. The game is developed by Bones Brothers and published by B-Team.
The premise centers on transporting a deceased person in a coffin without dropping them, set in a Victorian-era city. The body inside the coffin is driven by a physics engine: it slides when the coffin is tilted and can fly out when the coffin takes an impact.
Fallbearers supports online co-op multiplayer, and a single player can also control both characters alone. Stages shown so far include riding a boat through rough seas and skiing down a snowy mountain.
Gimmicks and Language Support
Gimmicks encountered along the way include crows that cling to the players and a ski lift that snatches away the body. The game does not support Japanese language play.
