Fallout 76's next major update is titled Raven Rock
Bethesda's Jonathan Rush said Raven Rock will add part of Fallout 3's Capital Wasteland to the Fallout 76 map around the series' 30th anniversary.
Bethesda Game Studios developer Jonathan Rush said the next major Fallout 76 update will be titled "Raven Rock" and is planned for around the series' 30th anniversary, according to gamespark.jp. Rush gave the details in an interview.
The update will expand the Fallout 76 map and include part of the Capital Wasteland familiar from Fallout 3. Raven Rock is set roughly 180 years before the era depicted in Fallout 3, Rush said.
Rush said the Fallout series reaches its 30th anniversary in 2027. Fallout 76 launched in 2018 as Bethesda's first multiplayer game.
Building changes and Japanese feedback
Rush said the C.A.M.P. system overhaul released about a year and a half ago was heavily influenced by feedback from Japanese players. The buildable item count stood at around 300 at Fallout 76's launch and has since grown to several thousand, he said.
Future plans include increasing C.A.M.P. build capacity and adding finer rotation controls for building parts, according to Rush. He also said a Fallout collaboration cafe is being held at TOWER RECORDS CAFE in Omotesando, Tokyo, from October 22, 2026 until November 8, for the second consecutive year.
