Fallout: The New West adds Lil Pip 3000 Pip-Boy mod to New Vegas

The mod team also released the Wattz Weapon Pack, adding five laser guns for Fallout: New Vegas players.

The Fallout: The New West modding team released the Lil Pip 3000, a Pip-Boy mod for Fallout: New Vegas, alongside the Wattz Weapon Pack on October 23rd, according to Rock Paper Shotgun.

The Lil Pip 3000 was recreated from Van Buren's original design documents. In the game, players find it near Nipton, where an unnamed ranger has left it. The device works with many existing mods that add Pip-Boy features and includes custom animations in which the lid flips up.

The Wattz Weapon Pack contains five laser guns, among them a burst pistol from Van Buren. If Tale of Two Wastelands is installed, the weapons are distributed throughout the Capital Wasteland.

Requirements

Both mods require the New Vegas Script Extender, JIP LN NVSE Plugin, JohnnyGuitar NVSE and kNVSE Animation Plugin. The Wattz Weapon Pack additionally requires the Gun Runners' Arsenal DLC, ShowOff xNVSE Plugin, ISControl Enabler and Sound Extender.

Black Isle Studios' third Fallout game was cancelled and is known by the codename Van Buren. The Fallout: The New West project aims to remake it and has already released a demo recreating Tibbets Prison, as well as several Van Buren-inspired guns.
