Fallout: Wasteland Warfare Warbands Starter Set Hits Retail June 25, 2027
Modiphius Entertainment's newcomer-friendly box comes with 22 PVC miniatures, a core rulebook and 13 custom dice for $165.
Modiphius Entertainment will release the Fallout: Wasteland Warfare Warbands Starter Set at retail on June 25, 2027, priced at $165, according to screenrant.com. The publisher's online store currently lists the set as unavailable for preorder.
The box contains 22 preassembled, unpainted PVC miniatures split between the Survivors and Super Mutants factions, along with a core rulebook, a core reference book and a quickstart guide. Modiphius has positioned the set as a complete entry point: it requires no additional miniatures or rulebooks to play.
Also included are 13 custom engraved dice, 207 gameplay tokens, a campaign journal, a campaign map, a warband roster, punch-out cardboard terrain and a double-sided paper battle mat.
Price moved before launch
The price was first announced in August 2026 at $160 before rising to $165. The tabletop game itself originally launched in 2018, and Modiphius announced a revamped second edition in 2025 featuring streamlined mechanics and a new solo mode.
The starter set arrives amid a broader run of Fallout activity. Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 5 is in preproduction while the studio focuses on The Elder Scrolls 6, and has also confirmed remasters of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas alongside a new Fallout project from Obsidian Entertainment. Fallout 76 is set to receive its Raven Rock expansion in 2027.
