Faraway Launches November 5 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch
Annapurna Interactive is publishing Steph Thirion's one-button arcade game, which creates real-time constellations as players slingshot a shooting star through the cosmos.
Faraway will launch on November 5 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch, GameSpot exclusively revealed.
The game is designed to be played with a single button. Players guide a shooting star traveling across the cosmos, using gravity to slingshot onward and create constellations in an endless, procedurally generated arcade experience. The universe is generated in real time based on the player's performance.
In addition to its endless arcade structure, Faraway includes 16 handcrafted puzzle stages. Steph Thirion is the developer, and Annapurna Interactive is publishing the title.
Faraway was first announced in 2010. Annapurna Interactive's recent releases include Road Trip earlier this month and Silent Hill: Townfall last month. The publisher also has Demi and the Fractured Dream, Uncanyon, and We Kill Monsters lined up for release.
