Nippon Ichi Software sets October 27 for free update 2 of its farming sim

Nippon Ichi Software announced on October 22, 2026 the contents of the second free update for its life simulation game, which will be released on October 27, 2026, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp.

The update adds a protagonist birthday event: when certain conditions are met, a letter arrives, and on the birthday set by the player, residents with an affection level of 3 or higher offer congratulations and a present.

A new farming tool, the seed-planting machine, is also included. Once conditions are met it can be bought at the general store and sows seeds, seedlings or fertiliser across the 3 squares in front of the player; upgrading it at the anvil widens that range.

Ten new furniture items make up the plumbing series: bathtub, shower, bath chair, bath bucket, toilet, paper holder, wall towel, washbasin, partition curtain and partition. These also become available at the general store once conditions are met.

The company notes that the birthday event may not occur during certain stretches of the main scenario or on days with thunderstorms.

Earlier content and paid DLC

The first free update is already available and added camping-series furniture, livestock, a furniture catalogue and farmland expansion. A paid DLC is planned for spring 2027.
