Final Fantasy XIV Adds Region-Wide Free Matching Across Japanese Data Centers
Square Enix's new Region-wide Free Matching lets players on Elemental, Gaia, Mana and Meteor match and join any party recruitment.
Square Enix has released "Region-wide Free Matching" for Final Fantasy XIV, according to gamespark.jp. The feature allows players on all four Japanese data centers — Elemental, Gaia, Mana and Meteor — to match with one another and to join any party recruitment.
The change applies to the four Japanese data centers as a group, rather than keeping matching limited within a single data center.
Square Enix is also running a seasonal event from around 17:00 on October 15 to around 23:59 on November 2. During the event, cities are decorated and special seasonal quests are available, rewarding event-exclusive items.
A friend invitation campaign is currently running as well, giving items to both the inviter and the invitee when the conditions are met.
