Football Manager 27 Adds Wheelchair Manager Option

Sega Publishing Korea unveiled new details about manager creation, generated players and accessibility for Football Manager 27, according to game.donga.com. The game is scheduled for release on November 11 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Mac and Netflix.

Manager creation expands with body type and ethnicity options, along with improved facial features and more skin and beard choices. New clothing and accessories include knit hats, caps, shirts, sweaters, scarves and gloves, and players can also select clothing colors.

As in previous entries, users can designate up to four favorite clubs before starting a manager career. A new feature lets players create a manager who uses a wheelchair, with electric wheelchair settings reflected on the start screen and in matchday scenes. Trophy ceremony podiums have also been designed to be accessible to wheelchair-using managers.

On the accessibility side, Football Manager 27 adds larger overall text and an option to turn off interface animations. The display scale options are renamed to Large, Medium and Small.

Generated players receive improved skin, color and hair, with adjusted profile camera angles and lighting. The game is developed by Sports Interactive and published by Sega Publishing Korea.
