Freddy Krueger joins Fortnitemares 2026 as a boss in Fortnite
Defeating Freddy Krueger at the new Nightmare Neighborhood point of interest earns players the Freddy's Nightmare weapon.
Freddy Krueger has been added to Fortnite as a boss in the Fortnitemares 2026 event, according to Collider. The character from the A Nightmare on Elm Street films can be found at Nightmare Neighborhood, a new point of interest introduced with the Halloween update.
Players who defeat the boss can claim a weapon called Freddy's Nightmare. The weapon lets its wielder teleport into range and slash opponents.
The crossover is part of the broader Fortnitemares 2026 Halloween update, which brings the horror character into the battle royale as a fightable target rather than a purchasable outfit.
