Fortnitemares 2026 Adds Black Clover's Asta, Starts October 1
Epic Games' Fortnitemares 2026 event begins October 1 with a Black Clover crossover, plus Beetlejuice, FNAF, and more.
Epic Games has announced Fortnitemares 2026, the annual Halloween event for Fortnite, which begins on 1 October. The first trailer for the event was released earlier this week.
The headline addition is a crossover with Black Clover, bringing Asta into the game as a playable character in his anti-magic devil form. The event also features characters from Beetlejuice, Five Nights at Freddy's, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and The Purge.
New sprites and variants are part of the update, including Birthday Sprite, Reaper, Trick or Treat, Gummy, and Holofoil. The event goes live following the v42.30 update, which includes bug fixes.
Black Clover aired as an anime from 2017 to 2021, and a second season is set to begin airing this month. Screen Rant reported on the trailer details.
