Fragmentary Order Debuts 14-Minute Gameplay Trailer, Opens Paid Prime Batch Testing

Rant Gaming Studios also opened sign-ups for its paid closed-test program Prime Batch, with tiers at $44.99 and $79.99.

Rant Gaming Studios released the first gameplay trailer for Fragmentary Order on November 5, showing roughly 14 minutes of in-engine footage. Alongside the trailer, the studio opened sign-ups for a paid closed-test program called Prime Batch on its purchase page.

Prime Batch is offered in two tiers. Candidate, at $44.99, includes access to alpha sessions, a Candidate rank title and a limited in-game package. Founder, at $79.99, adds a Founder package, earlier experimental builds, early access to the roadmap and entry to a closed developer community. Discounts on Prime Batch are applied according to a player's rank on the companion site cor3.gg.

The first closed alpha test, held under NDA, is planned for late 2026. The first test session for Prime Batch participants will begin soon. A podcast called FragOTV is planned to cover the start of alpha testing and the development plans.

Hard sci-fi setting

Fragmentary Order is in development for PC on COR3 as the platform's first exclusive title. Game director Nikita Buyanov leads Rant Gaming Studios, an independent team with more than 150 staff worldwide that aims to grow to at least 500. The game is a hard sci-fi tactical shooter set in the solar system in the year 2251, where war is outsourced.

Buyanov has compared the studio's aim to Escape from Tarkov remaining worth playing ten years later, according to gamespark.jp.
