Final Fantasy Tactics, Torneko updates lead Game*Spark weekly ranking

Game*Spark's weekly ranking for October 16-22, 2026, published by the Japanese outlet, lists updates to Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions and the Torneko no Daibouken: Fushigi no Dungeon remaster, the death of voice actor Hiroshi Tsuchida and RGG Studio's condolence statement, and an indie feature on RUST MOON.

Square Enix released an update for the iOS and Android version of Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions on October 19, 2026. The update adds controller support, a speed-up feature, battle UI changes and 60fps support, along with bug fixes. The PSP version of the game was released in 2007, followed by an iOS port in 2011 and an Android port in 2013.

An update for Torneko no Daibouken: Fushigi no Dungeon was also released on October 19, 2026, for all platforms. The Torneko update adjusts the tempo between music starting and being able to act, battle message pacing, monster behavior, Japanese text readability and stuck controller buttons. It also fixes many bugs, including freezes and save failures.

81 Produce announced on October 20 that voice actor and actor Hiroshi Tsuchida died on October 11 of heart failure at age 54. RGG Studio posted a condolence statement on its official X account after Tsuchida's death.

Indie feature

The ranking also includes an indie feature on RUST MOON, a cyberpunk side-scrolling action game by moonbell studio set in a dystopia managed by AI, where the protagonist ALPHA-7 has had her memory rewritten. RUST MOON is planned for release within 2026 with Japanese support, and a demo is available on its store page.
