GameStop is raising the prices of its preowned PlayStation 5 Pro consoles, with the used digital model reaching $1,399.99, according to wccftech.com. The preowned PS5 Pro Physical White will be priced at $1,499.99.
The retailer has intentionally set the preowned console prices higher than new console prices. GameStop's Product Replacement Plan will not be immediately available after the price change.
The move comes against a backdrop of repeated increases in PlayStation 5 Pro pricing. The console launched in November 2024 at $699 in the US. On August 21, 2025, Sony raised the price of every PS5 model in the US by $50, taking the Pro to $749.99.
On April 2, 2026, a worldwide price hike raised the PS5 Pro by $150 to $899. By the time of that April 2026 increase, RAM prices had reportedly risen more than 170% year-over-year.
