Genshin Impact Version 7.2 will launch on November 4 across all platforms where the game is available, HoYoverse announced during a livestream. The game enters its Version 7.2 maintenance period on November 3, according to Screen Rant.
The update introduces Mitya, a new 5-star Electro catalyst character whose Electro damage scales with Elemental Mastery and who converts Superconduct into Stellar Conduct. Valeriy, a new 4-star Electro character, provides shields, Electro application and party damage bonuses around Stellar Conduct reactions.
Phase 1 banners will feature the debuts of both Mitya and Valeriy, with Valeriy later joining the regular banner pool. The livestream also showed the code HourofRuin, one of several codes offering 100 Primogems each for up to 300 free Primogems.
Arriving after Snezhnaya's debut
Version 7.2 follows the addition of the Snezhnaya region in Version 7.0, the seventh and final nation of Teyvat, which also brought characters including Alyosha and Odette. Version 7.1 introduced the five-star characters Vesna and Vodyanitsa and added a new chapter in the main campaign.
