Girls Band Cry First Riff reveals gameplay bands and modes

DONUTS and Toei Animation revealed the game content of Girls Band Cry First Riff during the fourth broadcast of the project's official program on November 7, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp. The title is planned for iOS and Android, with no release date set, and pre-registration is open on the official site.

The game is described as a girls rock RPG in which players climb from the street to the arena. Playable content covers Story, Live Game and National Tour, built around high-quality 3D models.

Four bands, four writers

Bands featured include Togenashi Togeari and three game-original acts: Canna Lily, F-272 and Kuzumimizuku. Each band's story is written by a different writer. A key visual of Togenashi Togeari in the game was also unveiled.

Alongside the game, an online magazine called Girls Band Cry First Riff Magazine launched on the official site, with the November issue carrying interviews with cast members and the producer.

A full streaming and watch party of the Girls Band Cry anime is scheduled for November 21, 2026 at 15:00 on the official YouTube channel.
