Sen-Ti-Nel's new GM²I brand has announced a plastic kit of the Ixpel mecha from Formation Z, with the model scheduled to launch in August 2027 and preorders now being accepted, according to 4gamer.net. The kit is the brand's first release.
GM²I is a new label from Sen-Ti-Nel that turns mecha from classic games into plastic kits. The Ixpel unit is the first subject to be produced under it.
The design has been refined by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa, giving the kit a smart, sharp look. The model can be partly swapped to transform between a ground robot form and an aerial fighter form, reproducing the transformation shown on the package art of the game's home console port to some extent.
GM²I is produced by Takanobu Terada, and mechanical designer Takayuki Yanase is also involved in the brand.
