The game will continue the story of Kratos and Atreus following the events of God of War Ragnarök, with Kratos returning as the main protagonist.
God of War Laufey will launch before God of War 6. That title follows Faye in the afterlife of the gods, where she meets deities from multiple mythologies, including Sekhmet and Begtse.
