PlayStation Reveals God of War: Laufey Collector Box Without the Game for £130
The Collector Box includes a mini artbook, a 51-card Oracle Deck, and a light-up resin statue of Faye, but no game or download code.
PlayStation has revealed a God of War: Laufey Collector Box that does not include the game or a download code, according to gamesradar.com. The box is priced at £130 in the UK and had not been listed in the US at the time of writing.
The Collector Box contains a mini artbook, a 51-card Oracle Deck, and a light-up resin statue of Faye attacking foes while her cube companion Phranque appears in the background. God of War: Laufey will also get a physical disc release, and the article places the full experience around £200 for fans buying the Collector Box.
Fans reacted negatively on Twitter to the box lacking the game.
Earlier collector's editions
The reveal follows GTA 6 releasing a collector's edition without the game earlier in October 2026, with Rockstar's box of merch costing £350 / $400. The God of War Ragnarok Collector's Edition did not include a physical disc but did include a download code.
God of War: Laufey is scheduled to release next February. Sony has announced it is killing physical releases for new PlayStation games starting in 2028, a decision that has drawn continuing backlash.
