Lys Games has announced that Gopher It: Office Intern Simulator will launch on Steam on November 10, 2026, at 3:00 AM Japan time, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp. The game will be priced at 980 yen in Japan and 7.99 US dollars, with a 25% discount running for one week after release.
Players take on the role of a gopher intern in an office staffed by animals, working through more than 40 types of tasks. There is no time limit and no game over, and time advances only when a task is completed. Intern points earned along the way unlock 27 items, including new rooms, tools and a card key for the 8th-floor archive.
The game supports online co-op for up to 4 players through Steam friends or invites, and the number of tasks increases with the player count. Nine colleagues request work, among them Marcel the fox, Beatrice the alpaca and Pixel the Shiba Inu.
Lys Games developed the title in Godot 4; it supports controllers and includes 41 Steam achievements. Text and interface are available in 17 languages, with no voice acting.
