Rockstar reveals six Grand Theft Auto 6 radio stations

Rockstar Games has revealed six radio stations that will appear in Grand Theft Auto 6, along with a selection of the songs each one will play. The stations announced are Back Country Radio, Cocoteo FM, AfroBANK FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics, according to pcgamer.com.

The preview audio released for the stations runs for 12 minutes and includes both DJ banter and songs. The Chamber 106.6 carries Black Sabbath's I, Pantera's I'm Broken and Slayer's Raining Blood, while Back Country Radio includes Hank Williams, Jr. & Waylon Jennings' The Conversation.

Elsewhere in the lineup, Cocoteo FM features Bad Bunny's EoO and AfroBANK FM features Asake's Joha. Flash FM lists Charli xcx's Good Ones, MGMT's Electric Feel and Zara Larsson & PinkPantheress's Midnight Sun (Girls Trip), with hosts on the station. Dirty South Classics includes DJ Khaled's Born N Raised.

Rockstar says Grand Theft Auto 6 will be the first game in the series to include both terrestrial music stations and podcasts. The game launches on November 19.

Older stations set the template

Grand Theft Auto 5 mixed classic and modern tracks in its music curation, and the radio stations of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City worked as time capsules of the game's era. Non-Stop Pop, hosted by Cara Delevingne, was an iconic station in a previous entry in the series.
