Grave Mistakes: Co-op Funeral Home Game Announced for Steam
Happy Volcano and Oro Interactive revealed Grave Mistakes, a co-op funeral home management game with online co-op, proximity chat and a Steam playtest now open for requests.
Happy Volcano and Oro Interactive have announced Grave Mistakes, a co-op funeral home management game coming to Steam. The studios unveiled the project with a reveal that positions players as the operators of the Good Mourning Funeral Home, according to ScreenRant.
In Grave Mistakes, players handle the day-to-day duties of a funeral home, including funeral preparations, ceremonies and embalming. The co-op setup supports online play and proximity chat, so teams can coordinate as they work through each service.
The game also introduces a supernatural twist: players must feed human body parts to an eldritch horror called Grandma. In another mechanical wrinkle, body parts can be swapped out for objects such as shovels, skateboards and basketballs.
A Steam playtest for Grave Mistakes is currently open to requests, giving players a chance to try the game before its full release. A specific release date has not been announced.
