GTA 6 Paris Banner Omits Two Guns From Cover Art
A giant Grand Theft Auto 6 banner on a Les Mercuriales tower in Paris drops Lucia's gun and an assault rifle, while US banners keep them.
A large Grand Theft Auto 6 banner has gone up on one of the Les Mercuriales towers in Paris, recreating the game's cover art on the side of the building. According to Kotaku, two guns present in the original artwork are missing from the Paris version.
In the top middle image, the hand and gun held by the character Lucia have been removed entirely. In the bottom middle image, an assault rifle has been taken out, with the artwork altered to show a character's hand raised in the air with no weapon.
Banners and murals elsewhere, including one in New York City in the United States, keep the guns in their artwork, leaving the Paris version as a visible exception.
People online had followed the banner's installation over the last two weeks as the artwork took shape on the tower.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to launch on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox.
