Fan's GTA-style London map renames city 'Trafalgar'
YouTuber CityEd has created a GTA-style map of London, renaming the city 'Trafalgar' and reworking place names like King's Cross and Angel.
A YouTuber has reimagined London as a Grand Theft Auto setting, complete with GTA-style place names. CityEd created a map that renames the entire city 'Trafalgar' and reworks familiar locations: King's Cross becomes 'Dukes Cross' and Angel becomes 'Saint'.
CityEd released a 30-minute video explaining the process behind the map and how real-world history of the locations informed the changes. A PDF copy of the map was published on their Patreon.
The project differs from Rockstar's own take on the capital. The studio's 1999 GTA: London mission pack did not rename the city in GTA-style ways.
Rockstar is currently preparing for the release of GTA 6, which is due out in under two months. Its map is said to be big enough to fit at least two GTA 5 maps.
