Rockstar confirms no Disney World-style park in GTA VI
Rockstar's Paul MacPherson said the studio aimed to deliver the full Florida experience but could not fit every location into Grand Theft Auto VI.
Rockstar Games has confirmed that a Walt Disney World-inspired theme park will not appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. The studio addressed the speculation in an interview with Game Informer.
Paul MacPherson, Rockstar's Senior Vice President of Environmental Art, said the team constantly evaluates which unique qualities its artists could bring to the game, and that while the studio aimed to deliver the full Florida experience, it could not include every location.
The clarification follows several weeks of rumors suggesting that the game's Leonida setting would feature a theme park modeled on Walt Disney World.
Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 19 November 2026.
