Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition Heads to Switch 2 on November 5, 2026

Marvel Games announced Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, according to comingsoon.net. The game is set for release on November 5, 2026, and pre-orders are now available on the official Nintendo site.

Pre-orders are offered at a 10% discount for $35.99 until the launch date, after which the price is $39.99. The Encore Edition includes the base game and five exclusive 1980s glam rock-inspired outfits for Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket, and Groot.

The port supports mouse control using the built-in mouse of the Switch 2. Gyroscope controls are used to pilot the Milano and control Peter during sliding and zero-gravity sequences. The game can be played in TV, Tabletop, or Handheld mode.

Marvel Games released a 17-second announcement trailer for the game. The original Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy game was released in 2021 and was previously released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; Switch users could previously access the game via its cloud version.
