Gundam Base Shibuya store to open in Shibuya PARCO on November 20
Bandai Spirits will run a monthly rotation of 15 Gunpla kits at the store, including rare items, and entry is by advance lottery until November 30.
Bandai Spirits announced on October 20 that its new store, THE GUNDAM BASE SHIBUYA, will open inside Shibuya PARCO on November 20.
According to news.denfaminicogamer.jp, the interior is built around neon signs and large LED screens themed on Gundam and Gunpla, with a mobile suit bust placed in the center of the shop.
A collaboration artwork based on Gunpla package art will appear at the register area, created by a graphic designer. A package art designer also worked on the store's visuals, the outlet reported.
The store will include a SHIBUYA COLLECTION area, where 15 kinds of Gunpla rotate every month, including rare items.
To ease crowding, entry will be limited by advance lottery from the opening until November 30. The company did not give further details on how the lottery will be run.
